Leaking Munetsi’s (@incredibleMU) Hip-hop Track Without Pissing Him Off In 3 Simple Steps

As you know I blog a lot and like most bloggers I have a tendency to avoid getting my tail burnt, what most of us would call, “Kutambira kunonyudza”. However, sometimes it’s really tempting to play in the deep part of the pool even though you can’t swim well. Most of you may have read the last review in which I mentioned Munetsi and well, me and the beast emcee debated the review a bit on twitter till we agreed on something.  Today I want to show you how to leak such an emcees track and not end in trouble.  It’s really quite simple and straight forward but it has to be done by a person who understands the art of provoking people. By the end of this lesson I will provide a download link to a Munetsi snippet none of you have heard.

Step 1 – Create A Large Network

muNetsi Zim Hiphop

In order to be able to get a song like Munetsi’s before it’s release you have to be networked to producers and friends of Munetsi. The people he hangs with, take time to check out his twitter interactions. Then follow them, mention them and give them props. From time to time give them tip off whats going on the industry. Feel free to give them work and tell them to be quiet about it. At this point Munetsi doesn’t know what you’re up to. Don’t talk much to him either he may suspect the motive. Move on to step 2.

Step 2 – Establish A Good relationship With Key Producers

In the network you have created, handpick those you vibe with and pay them frequent studio visits. Talk to them a lot about your concerns about the industry and that you think the industry is dead.
Provoke them by accusing Munetsi of not putting work in anymore and being overshadowed by new school guys. Also tell them that you think if he drops new music it will not really be relevant to the times. Do the Math, these guys… the guys that work with him. They know that’s not true and you make them want to prove it to you, but they can’t wait for an album which may take ages to perfect and release. At the same time you’ve sneaked a few songs to them… they have that one little snippet mixed down of a song Munetsi has been working on.  It contradicts every word you have said. They simply give you the track (seriously, this has worked for over 5 people, except of the 5… Munetsi is the name you may know).

Step 3- Leak the track

Create a blogpost like this in a seemingly fiction and joking fashion that even Munetsi himself will not be very pissed off at. Give him props in his inbox daily during that week and tell him how much you respect his work.  Then safely tell the family of Zim Hip-hop to click this link and Download UNRELEASED Munetsi by Clicking On This Link…. If he gets pissed off all over twitter…. Make a follow up apology article and stay away from Studio’s you may bump into him for a while. Just make sure you’re safe and do send an apology to his inbox immediately.

If you have a good browser you’re already streaming it. If you are using Opera Mini on some phones just wait till you get on a PC.
